Question:
Think that a brand new mustang is a better looking car than a mini cooper?
Answers:
How much would someone pay for a car that a motor went out on?
I'm glad you have come to your sensesI would like to pay cash for a used car in the $3-5K range. What is your advice?
YES! A new Stang is a killer! Much better looking. What's the best way to get a reliable used car at a reasonable price?
It depends on your tastes. The Mustang has a more muscular and serious image, whereas the Mini is more urban chic I'd say.The Mini Cooper is a more sensible car overall, especially if you live in the city or commute/park there. The Mustang might be a better choice if you go on longer road trips, but you will probaby find it's not as easy to dart around in traffic and squeeze into small spots with.
what kind of small truck is the best?
As far as looks go, I like 'em both about the same. They both do a great job of bringing back some classic retro style in modern form.
When is the best time of year to buy a car?
If you are tired of the mini cooper, I would figure out what exactly it is that you are tired of and then make a list of things you would change about it, then look for a car that better meets your needs. If you want more room, I would also consider looking at a Volkswagen New Beetle. It has a lot of the qualities of the Mini Cooper, but with more room inside. They make a great turbodiesel version that gets almost 50 MPG and if you want speed there is a 1.8 turbo gasoline version as well. Both are reasonably priced. Good luck whatever you decide!
How about be thankful for what you have. You have a basically new car and you are bitching about how it looks? Some people can't afford to have cars (purchase price, maintenance, gas) so be thankful for what you have. I have a 91 Nissan Sentra that is smashed up on the front (from the person who owned it before me) but I am grateful that I have a car that runs good and gets me from point A to point B. This right here is America's problem...greed. Typical snobby attitude.
