If you want more room, I would also consider looking at a Volkswagen New Beetle. It has a lot of the qualities of the Mini Cooper, but with more room inside. They make a great turbodiesel version that gets almost 50 MPG and if you want speed there is a 1.8 turbo gasoline version as well. Both are reasonably priced. Good luck whatever you decide!

How about be thankful for what you have. You have a basically new car and you are bitching about how it looks? Some people can't afford to have cars (purchase price, maintenance, gas) so be thankful for what you have. I have a 91 Nissan Sentra that is smashed up on the front (from the person who owned it before me) but I am grateful that I have a car that runs good and gets me from point A to point B. This right here is America's problem...greed. Typical snobby attitude.
