I am shopping for a new car and I am seriously considering a Honda Civic SI Sedan. I love the fact that it is a powerful compact car but I only have one problem is the price really that low? I was wondering what others have paid for this car and how available it actually is, I know the msrp is $21,260 but is this the price I should expect to pay?

You can then email the dealers and haggle with the internet sales people who are usually able to offer a lower price. Plus, you have it all in writing for when you do go in. Just an example:

I am currently shopping for an Si myself, and I can tell you that in the New York area, they are getting close to list price for them. The MSRP is 21600 like you say, but there are always items that need to be added...floor mats, wheel locks, etc., and there is always tax added. Most of the prices I see end up in the ballpark of about 25-26K.How do used cars traders make profits?
