Civics are really easy to drive, and they are smaller but not too small and do good in crashes.
Civic types:
LX > (the one I have) 4 door, slower,
EX > Duel Overhead Camshafts (DOHC VTECH) they are faster, better.
DX > THE WORST. DO NOT RECCOMEND. p.o.s.
CRX > small, 2 door, not so good in crashes, good on gas.
LS > Like the LX, but nicer.
SI > Nice like the LS, eccept it is a hatchback, VERY good on gas, fun to drive.
Hondas are good because you can run them to the ground.
They are also very reasonably priced and insurance is not too expensive.
12 galln tanks, usually priced between 1,000-9,000 $
good luck.
toyota corrolla 06/07 who has bought one? Tell me your experience?
Just pick one!a lot of good points given already. teenagers usually do wreck or at least damage their 1st cars. something with little power, cheap, old, and stands a good chance of surviving a wreck. maybe an old volvo or subaru. actually, any car can be robbed of its horsepower with a throttle blocker. i dated a girl once when i was a teenager who had this car with a V8 that could barely get up a hill. i notice how much her dad grinned when she asked him to work on it. he'd always say he'd get around to it but never did. he had put a throttle block on it and never told her. i looked under the hood and saw it one day but said nothing. i knew as well as her father did that it was doing a good job of keeping her from killing herself. might be a good thing to think about. also, although it would be good to learn to drive a car with a manual transmission, it might be a better idea to wait on that. an automatic transmission is easier to drive, allowing the young driver's attention to remain on the road. another thing that might help is to make the teen pay for insurance, at least in part. if they get a ticket, don't pay more-let them make up the difference. good luck
Where can i sell my car on the internet ,where it will get notice?
Saturn. very reliable, good gas mileage, safe, dent resistant doors, cheap.I am buying myself a car for my birthday please help me narrow down the choices?
1989 Ford Escort. Because I hit two cars (fender benders) and a light pole and the only thing that happened was the bumper broke (half of it is still hanging on for dear life.) Their cars and the pole were unharmed. You could probably get a good working one for $500 and insurance is cheap (I only paid $50 every 3! months [good grades and Driver's Ed helped though].)I'm selling my car.Where on line can I find a web sight that offers free downloads of legal..?
