i bought used car 06 from dealership. on the signed contract they made mistake. in Section 6D for deferred downpayment it says $3000 and section 6G for Cash says also $3000, but I only gave them 3K. they want me to come back sign new contract or give them another 3K.
In the meantime I discovered hole in bottom passenger seat and a few other flaws. what are my rights - i'd like to negotiate w/them about the flaws of the car before i sign another contract. or do i need to sign another contract? at this point do i have the choice to return the car since the contract is not correct?

read your fine print, and check with the DMV site for your state, you very well may hold all the power here. but in the end, if it was a simple mistake and you know your payments should be higher, are you ok with just saying too bad Mr. Dealer?
I am guessing that your salesperson did not go over your paperwork with you at the time of signing, making sure you understand what the papers say. I am guessing this because if they had, this mistake would have been seen before you ever signed anything.
What chips you have to bargin with depends on a few different factors. How long ago did you purchase this vehicle? Is this difference going to affect your monthly payment that you were quoted? How much do you really want this car?
Return to the dealership, show them your complaints and explain to them that had the salesperson gone over the paperwork with you fully like they should have that neither you nor the dealership would be going through this now.
Make sure before you re-sign anything that you go over the whole thing, and make sure you understand what everything means.
