Any car with a hidden, not in some common location, starter kill switch is secure from car theft. I have a 1995 Firebird that came with PassKey II. After a while one of the wires leading to the contacts to the key started shorting out. I found where the wire connect going up the steering column. I disconnected the connector and installed the correct sized resistor and a toggle switch that can't be easily seen.
