I have driven both. There is no comparison. Both are nice cars, and both show some of their heritage.

The 335 is gorgeous. In my opinion, mechanical thoughts aside, the 335 is the head turner of the two.
The BMW drives like you might expect, but feels tighter, more nimble and enveloping. The G35 isn't sloppy. I felt like I had more control, and more power in the 335.

I would expect the 335 to hold it's value better. The 3 series is traditionally one of Consumer Reports' highest rated cars.

Both are quiet. I think BMW does a better job of capturing the luxury buying experience. Infiniti still seems like Nissan, nice but not "like buttah."
The Infiniti gives you a lot for the money, it's just not a BMW.

because of the quality and strength of the german famous brand. (even if mercedes is my favourite) If you have a car crash (which i hope will never happend) you have more chances to be all good in the BM than in an infinity. And, bmw's are way more stylished than infinity's

If this doesn't mean enough, do you self a big favor, and go to the infinity dealer, and test drive one, showing that you are not sure, and then go for the BMW dealer and drive it.

The BMW is a much nicer ride than the G35. While I can see why you like the G35 - it's a very good looking car - I think the BMW drives nicer (The G35 doesn't feel like it has any power at all) and will ultimately give you better resale value.

I'd go with the Infinity. Mostly for reliability reasons. Avoid any BMW with the I-Drive system. I will drive you nucking futs.

The maintenance on a BMW will kill you. The "free" maintenance is all on their terms - they will only pay for the oil change when the light comes on - what if you do it early? - You Pay.im looking for a cheap car for under a thousand dollars.?
I have worked at both dealerships and rarely saw any major problems with the Infiniti's. They are solid and run forever. People like BMW's because they want all their neighbors to know that they went out and paid a lot of money on a car. Infiniti owner's tend to be less pretentious.
Probably the Infinity. BMW's are notorious for electrical problems and honestly are kinda played out. The Infinity In my opinion Is faster, much much prettier and less of a headache. The Infinity Is just a catchy car and still relatively new In style, even though the Beamer Is re-designed.
