Which car is a better buy a honda civic or a nissan sentra?
honda civic no doubt. my 95 honda civic has only been repaired twice. once cause i fucked up the hood by closing it with the little peg still in(covered by insurance as an accident so 50 bucks), and the other was a new axle, breaks, and tires (total 700). this things awesome. and it gets like 30 miles to the gallon. and the new ones get like 45I am buying a car, can't decide between two cars...help?
Ford Escort or Chevrolet Cavalier( 4 cyl ). Both are inexpensive, reliable, and easy to repair. Their engines run forever as long as you keep the oil changed regularly. Automatic transmissions will probally max out at around 200,000 miles but with a manual you can double that, with clutch plate repairs.definitely a vauxhall of any type, I had a vauxhall cavalier and it was the love of my life, I was single lol. I only traded it in when I became a couple for a **** silver car with nice lights at the back, it has given me grief ever since x

I,ve only ever had Ford cars. They,re reliable and the parts are cheapAnybody know how much i shud pay for a lower range twist and go moped?
Skoda Felicia facelift model1300cc, built by Volkswagen and very reliable. However they are hard to get hold of as people tend to hang on to them longer. They come very well equipped and spares are easy to get. Forget all the jokes about the old rusky Skoda, if you can try one, you will see what VW can do with a car when they want to.Volvo are a great make for reliability and safety but are not too cheap and their heavy (but safe) frames use a lot of fuel.
I would say Ford is a good choice because the parts are cheap. Citroen, Suzuki and Honda are also reliable makes which are easy to repair and maintain.

Why no one has said it before now i don't know ,but i say German cars are the most reliable,as is all German engineeringSubaru and Toyota
Japanese cars are the most reliable. My last car was a Nissan Sunny with 200,000 miles on the clock, never gave me any trouble. If it's cheap parts you are worried about then go with a Ford
Does a 2003 Chevy Venture regular mini van retain value or lose value quickly, what is is worth?
Anything but ford, hondas are probably your best choice though. I repeat not ford they are worthless! If you have not a lot of cash and you want to have reliability consider a W124 or W123 diesel Mercedes.
Why? they are cheap enough to get in good condition. They are not technically complicated so most stuff (service, small repairs can be done by the technically minded. the engines, if properly maintained are absolute bulletproof(w124 engines with 650k +miles on them and still going strong)
the car body (pay attention at: sills, wheelarches, inside of the rear wings, under the battery shelf, are good quality and last)
and because they are coming up or are over 20 years old tax and insurance is cheap.
The japanese cars are the most reliable, and the prices although not as cheap as ford or vauxhall is worth the extra cost if any these days.
