I took a trip to the Carmax yesterday and they showed me their "bottom line" price with tax with no fees and that was thee bottom line. And they told me how other dealers would try to screw you over and how they do their whole add-ons and make more money out of you. Has anyone else bought from the Carmax? If so, is this true? Good or bad experience?

The "Maxcare Extended Service Plan" essentially offers new car warranty coverage on every mechanical and electronical aspect of the vehicle. If you want something that's going to last, CarMax is your best bet. All the cars are clean and legit and they won't sell you one that isn't. The window stickers are straight forward and the only additional charges come from the maxcare program (which is reasonable) and the few mandatory fees your state might charge.
