I answered a craigslist car ad for someone selling a 2003 BMW SUV for only $6,900. The seller was named Vince Baku and said due to a divorce was selling the vehicle and had moved to the UK. He asked me to send him my full name and address and then Fortis Escrow would contact me and I would need to deposit $2,900 into an account. I know this is fraud, and wanted to know if anyone else has seen something like this recently. I'm trying to investigate this guy.

They change names like you wouldnt believe. The escrow company is a fake. Report it to Craigs list. It is one of the oldest scams in the book. I always play with them and act as if I deposited the money.string em on cuz they are ready to spend your hard earned money with a smile.
