Question:
I bought a new car 3 weeks ago, I still have not received any statement from any bank regarding my 1st payment. I don't know if the dealer has even found a bank to finance the loan, since my credit score is a bit low. I did receive the plates and registration this weekend. Is it possible that they still have not found a bank to finance the loan and that they may ask for the car back?
Answers:
Want to get a good second hand 4x4 what do u suggest?
You should be getting it within the next week or so.You probably don't have to make your first payment for 45 days! Im sure they found a bank or they would have called you in the first week. Also they wouldn't have issued the plates or the registration to you with out the deal being funded!Believe me I know this stuff! I am a finance manager at a dealer!
Call the dealer and ask.
This is why you should NEVER take delivery of a vehicle until everything has been taken care of. At this point, if they cannot finance you, you will still owe them quite a bit of money for the use of the car.
It can typically take the bank 4 to 6 weeks to get your payment book or statement to you.
Are ther any more Checker Cabs anymore and if so where can I buy one?
If you titled the car, and got plates, then there is a bank listed on the title as the lienholder, or else you would not have received them.
The dealer can tell you who you are financed through, and give you the number to contact their customer service dept.
