The discount would be the friends and neighbours discount which can be given to anyone. We are not looking for any family discount which we would not be entitled to. thanks in advance

The person providing the discount has to get a code from GM. They would have to call, give them their social security number to prove that they are a GM employee to get that code. Dealer representatives (sales, service, etc.) do not get this benefit. It has to be someone that is actually employed by General Motors. Good luck finding someone.

The dealership can get you a friends discount number if you don't know anyone. And actually, they can sell it to you at dealer invoice, less rebates, and it is really cheaper than the friends and neighbors discount.
