Question:
ok so im 18 years old and I have a job delivering pizzas. I make around $1500 a month which I think is good considering I live with my mom. I want to get a car for around $17500. Do you think it would be hard for me to get a new car because im young and what not and what does it usually take to qualify for no down payment and stuff like that and what do you think the monthly payment would be on a lease?
Answers:
Whats the most you would pay for a new car?
You will need a co-signer for a new car. A downpayment is better. As you'll probably need something down on a lease anyway. Also you need excellent credit for no money down, unless it is an offer from the dealer.Lease has a lot of restrictions. Such as mileage,so hope you're not considering this for delivery.
Purchase price payment on:
Auto loan amount $17500
Auto loan term 5 years or 60 months
Interest rate * 8.00 % per year ( can be had for 6 -8%)
Monthly auto loan payment $354.84
Lease price calcs are more varied so here's a rule of thumb calc.

What happened to my car loan?? I am devistated!?
I want you to think about this... Will you be living with your mom in 4 years? Probably not..... Will you be delivering pizza in 4 years? I hope not! And sit down and write down just what it costs you every month to deliver pizzas. Gas Oil repairs ware and tare on the car you are using now! That $1500 is now what? $900? May I make a suggestion? get your self a good used car with payments of no more then $200 If you are like me and like to drive get a CDL Class A licenses. It is hard and expensive but on a Good week you can make $1500. I have the pay stubs to prove it.Forget about a lease. You will get killed on the miles. And the hard reality is you will need a down payment, sales tax, and full coverage insurance. Think 5 years a head my friend Plan for you future. One day you will have a wife and if the Good Lord blesses you children. Start by getting some credit.AND FOR THE LOVE OF PETE pay the damn thing off every month on time. I am full of good advice as I have made a few mistakes along the way (lol) Good luck and use your head. How do I sell a car that is not in my name... please read details?
