The story: The Echo hatchback is arguably a more sensible purchase. The wide hatchback opening at the rear, combined with fold-down back seats, turns the Echo into a mini station wagon.
The tall and narrow Echo sedan -- a quirky-looking two- and four-door boxy sedan first launched to replace the old Tercel in 2000 -- has the looks to grab attention, although not everyone is applauding. As for safety, the Echo has a four-star frontal crash test rating. While it's not very big, what is there does a decent job of protecting passengers in a collision.

Both the Jazz and the Echo are good cars, although out of the two, I would take the Jazz. You also might wish to consider a Toyota Yaris. It is a bit more expensive, but its safety equipment level is higher. Hyundai Getz is also a very good value for money car.What sort of mercedes benz can buy for 10 grand ive got to kids and a dog but dont want an esate?
I always dream of the mini Jazz. Sorry I'm not good with cars but I heard the mini Jazz is not a bad bargain. I'm not familiar with Echo so can't help you with that.
