I found a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero with 73k mi. for 5500...is this a good deal? Mechanically everything seems fine, runs great, it's in good shape but inside could use a cleaning.

No it is an American car And 73m miles is a lot for a 2001 it should not have more then 60m miles.If you need a used car you have to get a Toyota they last 150m miles no American car will last that long this car Will need a new transmission real soon, Don't buy it
