Would someone be willing to run a carfax report for me?
I think the F150 would be plenty of truck for a first time driver. Just don't run over the people in "normal cars" :-P.When will the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Crew Cab 4WD LTZ Long Box arrive at dealers for sale?

I drive an F150, they are great. Mine sits higher because its 4 wheel drive. As far as safety goes, you just have to remember that they stop in a straight line-no swerving. Its the roll-over factor, they sit high, so they have a high center for balance. Between the two you mentioned, I'd take price first, just me though. How do I find Federal Government Auctions on Cars?

Two things: modern cars are a lot safer than their earlier versions (because of airbags, anti-lock brakes, crush zones, and the like), and the last thing you need for a first car is a new, huge (full size) truck. Even if you can afford the purchase price (or the monthly payment) for that F-150 Lariat, the insurance is likely to kill. And if that doesn't, the fuel economy will.Is anybody selling the new shape Vauxhall corsa for around 2,000 in Wales, Cardiff??
If you really have your heart set on a truck (why do normal cars freak you out, anyway?), look at something like a Dodge Dakota, a Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon, or a Ford Ranger. Or perhaps a Toyota Tacoma, a Nissan (whatever they call the current Nissan pickup), or something similar. Unless you're a contractor or something, any one of the above makes more sense than a full-sized pickup for a first-time driver.
How can Car Dealerships cost vary so much?
Consider a used Toyota- they get great gas mileage, they are safe, compact, and cheap. But for a first car I would strongly recommed an actual car- they are much easier to maneuver and easier to park. They also get the best gas mileage, which is especially important now. They also tend to last longer. My first car was a '91 Toyota Corolla and it has been a wonderful car. It has over 115,000 miles but it still runs great. A truck would probably be better later on when you have more experience driving and more cash to spend. What should i get ?? A R34 skyline gtr or a porsche boxter?
i really think you should re-consider the truck idea. They are safe, but you might regret it when trying to park anywhere and when your gas tank is empty. I think you should get a truck only if you really need it. New smaller cars are getting alot safer with technologically advanced safety features and air bags etc. If it takes a big F-250 to make you feel confident on the road, then i question your competence with the whole idea of self-transportation.More Questions & Answers ...
