I am applying for a personal loan through my credit union to fund relocation expenses for a new job out west. I recently refinanced my car through my credit union and they are saying they are unable to approve my personal loan because they are not listed as a lien holder for my car. They said that they paid off Wells Fargo for my car but they are still not listed as the lien holder on the Florida Dept. of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles website: https://www6.hsmv.state.fl.us/rrdmvcheck...
Wells Fargo has been contacted several times, but they have not corrected this. The information provided on the above gov't website still says they are the lien holder:

After doing a bit of research, I discovered it might be a good idea to call the Office of the Florida Attorney General. Can anyone else provide insight on how to fix this
