There is no answer for your questoin beacuse there are to many factors involved. Reliability will depend on how an owner takes care of the car. Even a Honda or Toyota will break down if not properly maintained.Length of life is based on where the car is (snow belt, desert, tropics) and how the car is cared for, driven, etc. Value is based on milage, make model, age, condition, trade in value versus retail value etc.

Yes typically foriegn cars outrank domestic cars in initial quality, reliability etc but no one can tell you how a car will be 10 -15 years down the line due to all the factors that play in. Foriegn cars do have an advantage as they tend to be a bit better to begin with but there is a premium to pay for that. As always you get what you pay for. Look at all the angles including your ownership habits, this will get you closer to the right answer for you.
