Any car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Put 1200 on the window and take the first reasonable offer that comes along.

What is the best used mini-van to buy?

Head gaskets are fairly hard to replace, so if someone knows about it, your price will go down. I'd say around $2,000 or a little higher so that they can talk you down some since you have the gasket problem. You can also go to kbb.com and get a more acurate quote. I bought a '98 Cavalier a few years ago for $3500 and it had nothing wrong with it and only 55,000 miles, but bottom of the line, so I would say $2,000 would be fair.
