What credit bureau does Honda check when qualifying for a new car?
Don't. In a lot of cases you might actually be better off getting a cash advance from a credit card and using that to buy from a private seller. (and THAT is a spectacularly bad idea)Those BUY HERE PAY HERE places are a viper nest full of predatory lenders, lying assholes who will conceal and evade re: any problems with the car, and will do everything they can to screw you. If you buy from one of these guys, pay cash.
Save up 1500 bucks and buy a car from an individual seller. If you're spending less than 10 grand, don't even CONSIDER a dealer. If you're spending MORE than 10 grand and buying used, you should still look for a private seller.
