What's your price range? Do you want RWD or AWD? Are you planning any modifications? For a great price and easy modifying I'd suggest the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. AWD turbo, and for less than $1000 you can have about 350AWHP. For a few thousand more you can outrun pretty much any stock car out there, that includes Vipers, Vettes, Stangs etc.
