I am behind on my car payment and out of work. Are they any programs out there to help right now during this time. I already got a extension through the finance place a few months back so they won't give me another one right now. I'm frantically looking for work and I have no one to borrow money from. HELP?

There are programs out there but it will all depend on where you live. I would first start by calling your local government Social Services agency and see if they know of any resources. Also, you may want to see if you can find a job in a local mall as they often do a lot of short term hiring near Christmas. If you do a good job, they may even offer you a permanent position. I would also call the finance company again and beg! It cost them money to take back a car and they still may be willing to work out another solution.
