Carfax Report?

They will never find it. Just take it as a lost. If was an oldschool, they already sold it. If it was a new school. Its chopped up. Trust me I know.

I'm looking for rebuilt 351 Windsor for a 1969 cougar need to get running soon for a good price?

Totally unknown. It could have been taken by a chop shop and now it's in tiny pieces and the parts are on a bunch of different cars.

Import cars?

If it was taken by joy riders, then sooner or later someone will find it and report it to the police. If they are joy riding and raising hell in it then the police will pull them over and run the plates and then find it stolen. I just hope you have insurance on it.

I am looking for a car!?

Depends upon whether the car was stolen by joy riders or by professionals. Joy riders typically just drive it until it either runs out of gas or they wreck it; sometimes they may strip parts from it.

I have a 1968 thunderbird that i'm thinking of selling but i don't think anybody would buy it what should i do

Professionals will usually either chop it up, selling the parts to unscrupulous or unsuspecting body shops or will ship the car to another country, Usually Mexico or South America.

How do you determine the value of a used item? Is there some kind of formula to use?

At any rate, if you are insured against theft, you'll probably have to wait one month until the insurance company will address the problem and pay you the book value of the car; if you aren't insured, I'd start looking for a new car right away.

I want a new car but I dont know how to go about getting one... any advice?

It's been our experience that unless it is abandoned somewhere where it will be noticed, either by illegal parking or damaged, the chances of recovery are slim. The police are too busy with other more important crimes than car theft.
Good luck!

What Texas car dealership has the $4000 push pull or tow offer for used cars this weekend?

I had a car stolen myself in September of 2006. I live near Phoenix Arizona, where car theft is very common. The policeman who took my initial report said the chances of recovering a stolen vehicle are actually pretty good. I did some research and it's true! Nationwide, you have about a 2 out of 3 chance of getting your stolen car back. Your chances are less if you live in Los Angeles or near the Mexican border.

How much does a car value drops if it had a miner right front accident?

My car was stolen on a Wednesday morning. 4 days later, about 11:30pm Sunday evening, I got a call from the police department in a neighboring town saying they found my vehicle. They actually caught someone driving it! The cops initially pulled him over for running a red light. After they ran the VIN number they arrested him. Pretty much all of my personal belongings left inside were gone. There was an extra 1000 miles on the car. I had 4 brand new tires put on only a month prior, and somehow they managed to ruin one and it was riding on a spare. All of my radio presets were different. There was very noticeable body damage. It needed brakes before they stole it. The car thieves fixed the brakes! There was armor-all and brake fluid in the car when I recovered it.

How much do you think a 2002 V6 mustang(silver) with 48,000 miles on it should sell for?

Despite getting a good brake job, the insurance still totalled my vehicle. I got only $1200 back. Granted it was 1998 Dodge Neon with 144,000 miles on it, so I probably came out ahead.

Miles to the gallon?

Anyway back to your question. The chances of getting your vehicle recovered are pretty good. The chances of getting it back without it being damaged at all are not good. The chances of getting any personal belongings left in your car back are VERY slim.
