medical history - my credit is poor. while I am trying to make it better, I have a long way to go. How can I go about getting another car - most places probably won't loan to me? Does anyone know anything about buy here-pay here places?

Most buy here, pay here lots sell older cars, usually not in great shape. IMO, the best thing you could do while you are cleaning up your credit would be to save up $3000 or so and pay cash for a good used car. Just my opinion, though.
