We brock up, he stopped paying the car, it got repossesed, he moved state, now ive been recieving bills saying i owe them $5000. i rang them and they said i have to pay it and theres nothing they can do. Also wen he stopped paying it i said i would take the car and finish payin it off, but he said no. (ive got his address) What should i do? do i have to pay?

i would take it to small claims court or something like that. you can get a court order that he has to pay. you might need a contract or some kind of evidence, no i'm sure you would need some type of evidence! You are on the loan as a co-buyer. Since the other guy backed out, you get stuck. Either take him to court or take the car. If you want the car and can get it, then do that. Just have the title application changed to have only your name on it. Try to get the loan drawn up again with only your name on it.
