What kind of payment would a person have for a $20000 automobile/truck loan for 72 months??
I don't know if anyone enjoys the process of barganing and haggling, but it must be done if you don't want to be shafted for thousands of dollars. It should be a rare thing to pay sticker price. If you can, start the process via internet/fax after having done research on what you want. Use several websites out there to see what other people are paying (such as edmunds.com). If you can, get your financing ahead of time so you are not depending on them for anything other than a good price. There can be kickbacks involved with dealerships obtaining funding for you. Dealerships make money in many other ways other than selling you that car or truck you want. I suggest reading up http://www.carbuyingtips.com before starting the process. Anybody know where i can get or have a nissan micra bubble shape front bumper N reg thanks?
First decide on an automobile you want, not what they want to sell you. Do your homework and research the car and it's pricing before you even set foot into a dealership. Thirdly, deal with a reputable outfit, not just some" highway" dealership that advertises a ton of crap on the radio and tv and print ads on newspapers on a weekly basis just to get you in the door. Fourth, after you have done this, establish a fair market value for the car you are interested in and stand your ground. You don't have to buy it from the first guy. Shop around but make it brief and to the point.Let them know your serious and your not just kicking tires. Also make sure you are aware of any factory to dealer incentives or factory to consumer rebates. This may not apply to "hot " cars right now. Like for example the Civic or Prius Hybrid, Camry hybrid, Altima Hybrid etc. Good luck and when it doubt, walk away from it. You can always go back. Any dealer that states the price is only good til today is playing a game. Don't bite so easily.More Questions & Answers ...
