I barely received my license this month so im searching for a convinent car. Preferably, a low gas millege and has a good rating. I know extremely little of cars so i need all the help i can get. =)

honda civics,toyota carollas,nissa altimas,all extremly good cars, excellent on gas mileage,safe,reliable,and they are known to run forever. of course alot things depend on personal preference,but you can't base a whole lot on appearance, there are many cars out there that people think look real nice, then they buy and 3 months later want to get rid of it. I would personally lean towards a small import vehicle, but avoid hyundais,kias,things like tha ,go with a well known car manufacturer,no DAEWOOS if you want to e-mail me you can MW4191@yahoo i'll help all i can : )

Just wanted to say, steer clear of the Smart Car... terrible drive, and that's from someone who owns one. However, they are seriously economical!
I'd stick with Ford: easy to replace ANY parts and they're usually cheap. Insurance for a new driver will be average, unless you go for a top spec model - stick to an Escort of a Fiesta.
