there are soooo many things you need to do! do you know any S.A.E. certified mechanics? take the car to a shop. not a mom and pop auto shop, but a big chain name. sears auto center is a good one. the reason for the bigger chain shop is that they have a name and reputation to uphold versus a small shop where they can say what they want to get your business. they don't require a certified mechanic in many small shops so the person checking the car out could be as smart about cars as a two year old. be wary! so many things to check out! what kind of car and what year is it?
