Me and my boyfriend have been sharing a car for awhile now, needless to say I'm tired of it.?

Question:
im also tired of paying to get a car fixed CONSTANTLY (not just little things big problems.......WHICH IS EVERY OTHER MONTH!) when im still paying a note payment.and of course my warranty has expired! i was offered a chance to take a rollover and im not sure if it is a good idea. although i could sell my car to my bofriend and take on a lease instead which im thinking about. but not quite sure i want to. Someone help me out, what should i do?

A Vette or a Dodge Ram?

You have been sharing a car 50/50 and YOU have been paying 100% for maintenance and payments on it?
You need to tell him to step up and take his fair share of the burden - he pays half or he doesn't get to use it half the time!
You should get out of that situation - you can decide to sell it to him but don't give him a bargain and ultimately hurt yourself financially. I think you should try to get a car of your own and stay away from this kind of situation!
Try to buy a used car with the money you make off selling your old one - don't get stuck in a lease, it will just be another bad commitment. Hondas and Toyotas make very reliable used cars with relatively few repairs needed. Search on www.autotrader.com

We are interested in buying the 07 Altima v6 does anyone know if that would give us a tax credit for next year

If he is in fact helping to make the payments but the car is in your name, you need to get some legal documentation that he promises to pay, signed and dated by him, because if he leaves you will be stuck with all the burden by yourself.

Should i pimp out my 94 Toyota Supra or should I buy a New BMW M Roadster in 2007?

If this guy is freeloading off of you, you really need to think about the relationship and what it may hold in the future - this could just be the beginning and you could end up losing a lot of money that I'm sure you work very hard to earn.

I want to but a small suv, fairly new, which one is the best for the money and performance?

Get rid of the boyfriend unless he's willing to help you out financially. He obviously needs his own car. No rollovers! No leases either! You're spending too much money on that car!

What's the process of buying a car from another person (not with car dealer)?

you need a reliable car.
but realize if you sell your crummy car to the bf
he will still be needing rides from you all the time cuz his car is broken down.
and can he afford the repair bills?
I don't suggest a lease because in the long run it's cheaper to buy an older car. probably the cheapest think to do is have your bf buy another older car and give each other rides when either car is broken down. that's the cheapest way.

which car should i get?

I don't know your financial situation but, if you are really rich, pay cash for a two year old car you love. If you aren't rich, see if you can come up with a thousand bucks and look for a private seller with a dependable toyota or nissan that is about 8-10 years old. It won't be a beauty, but it should serve you well. Ideally, you need $3,500 for a nice, dependable used car from a private seller. Under NO circumstances should you EVER take a FLEECE. You will hate yourself in 6 weeks. When my wife and I first started out she hated me for making her drive a 8 year old Nissan Stanza. Even when I had to replace the CV joints it was still much cheaper than a car payment. Don't get too down when you have to do repairs. They must not become more excessive than a car payment and you can't have an automobile that is dangerous, otherwise drive the wheels off of it. 20 years from now you will be an overnight success, driving a paid for, 12 cylinder jaguar sedan, like my wife.

Looking to buy a cheap sports car?

Instead of asking Us this, I suggest you confront your boyfriend about this problem.... If he is truely your boyfriend (and you are truely his girl friend)
