What to do with a junk car with new tires?

That tire size should be 225/45-17 which is a common tire size. You should be able to make some money off of them- you won't recover all of your money but it's better than nothing.

Take pictures of the tread wear and post an ad on ebay motors. the buyer pays for the shipping costs so you don't really have anything to lose. After that- if you have even four dummy tires- put them on the car, tow it to the nearest junk yard- they will pay you for the car- plus that way you don't have a junk car in your yard.
