YA VOA!I am looking forused Volkswagon Convertibles for sale. Individual or specialty dealer?
I'd say it is ok. My family has one and it was a "showcase" car so it had quite a few miles on it but it runs smoothly and nicely. Is anybody selling a vw lupo for 2,000 or less in Wales, UK??
first how much you gonna buy it for and second i would say no.German engineered cars are some of the best out there.
a little pricy for 100K miles, id go for a different car
Car buyers...what would you do?
yikes what year model? they are fun to drive but they tend to require lots of upkeep and matenanceCan anybody tell me the optimum price of a second hand Maruti WagonR 2001 model el
what year is it and what price and when was the last timing belt change? They do hold pretty well but are nutorious for electrical problems make sure you have someone who is vw smart look at it firs cause 11,000 sound pricy for over 100,000 miles plus mechanical things begin to need replacement at about 120,000 mileslet me know if you buy it or not. between you and me you can get more bang for your buck from another car.Does anyone know where i can find a good running used car for sale?
I'd check consumer reports, you can buy them at most grocery stores. VW's do have a spotty reliability report, and are known to be unreliable. Also keep in mind if you need any major work done to the car, you will have to take it over to a VW dealer, as there the only ones who can service the cars. I'd recommend a Honda or Toyota. The quality will be better, and they can be repaired cheap and almost anywhere. If that still doesn't change your mind, than buy the car that you want, as that will be the only one your happy with. Good luck.
Purchased new car and want to return it?
Well I had a jetta gli 2004 and loved the car it costed me 24000. So for less than half the price not a bad deal. Remember 100k on a German car is very different than an American car. It has alot of life still in it and if it is the v6 model its a complete blast to drive. IMO there arent a lot of cars in that year in the price range that looks as good and rides as nice with a very impressive interior finish. They hold their value quite nicely. Is it worth it to refinance once a lease is up?
Yes, take it from me, i own a 2005 GLI. I love it, and it runs forever. Mine only has 37k miles on it though. The only problem is the brakes, in reverse it will groan at times, thats the only brake problem, otherwise they will stop you on a dime. for 11k, you are probobly ok, just make sure nothing else is wrong with itV-DUB
My husband and I are planning on getting another car..?
have at er bud. i've owned alot of vw's in my life time, and i've never been dissapointed. but also, with every used car, chew down the price. Are SUV's usually high in insurance for teens?
I just cant believe anyone would say that you should buy it.Think about it. youre going to pay $12,000 for a car that has 104,000 miles on it. That is half of the cost of a new one with 0 miles on it.
That is the most ridiculous asking price ive ever seen in my life for a car with over 100,000 miles.
To top it off, after you first 2 years of maintenance costs with the jetta, you could have purchased a new one.
Look up owner reviews, look up common problems, look up maintenance costs.
Common problems/mainentance costs:
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotiv...
Transmission failure=$2700
Timing belt replacement=$985
Idler pulley=$650
Specialized vw oil change=$75
Rear brake caliper failure=$1390
Burning oil=Gasket replacement=$300
Front strut mounts-$610 a peice
Water pump=$1800
total=$9045
So there ya go, those are the common problems so you have a 99% chance of having those issues to deal with. the question then becomes, is that car with 104000 miles worth $20,995?
What would be the better decision: buying a new gli for $24,000, that comes with a 100,000 mile drivetrain warranty, or spending $3000 less for a car that has 104,000 miles?
How do i get a car loan without having to have a cosigner?
2003 GLI 64,000 miles asking price-$12,499

2003 GLI 30,952 miles asking price $14,895

What is the most reliable car to buy?
Dont be stupid and buy it, that is a horrible deal.
For one the gli is way over priced! My friend just recently bought a 2003 with 60k for a little under $13,000 And itr is only a good buy if it has the vr6... The turbos are nutorious for blowing out in the turbo models!!
