Question:
I'm a freshman in college and I'm sure I'm taking my car on campus next year. I have a '94 Ford Escort and I doubt it'll make it back and forth 80 miles from school to home and back every other weekend so I NEED a new car....I came home last weekend so I sprung it on them....I talked it over with my parents and they said "We'll talk over the weekend and give you a call during the week." What do you think?? O trust me, I'm puttin in $3,000 towards this car at least but this is a $6,000 car mind you.. do u think they'll agree to help me pay for the rest of the car after I save up enough this summer???

Honestly, I hope they don't help you on it. You will take better care of it if you buy it completely on your own. I am guessing that they are also paying for your tuition, they do enough. Save up & appreciate it!
