Being a '74 with the smog gear and it used leaded fuel when it was a baby, you may want to sell it. EPA regulations will effect it if you plan to sell it without restoring it. Restoring it will be expensive because the metal used in Dusters was the lowest grade, hence the cost of the car at the time. Restoration will be impractical because those were/are not a high demand/low production vehicle. It'll make a nice beater/hand-me-down for a younger-basic insurance,aka starter car driver. take out full coverage insurance on it. then make sure you have a couple of pictures of one, if yours doesnt look all that good get a couple of pics of someone elses that does. part it out. the parts for one of those are going for a small fortune nowadays. and after all the parts are sold, take whatever is left to the scrap metal yard. cut them into small enough pieces that they wont need the title. then file a stolen vehicle report with the police and your insurance co. get the check and dont ever do it again.How do i find the best towing car?
