Has anyone tried selling their car back to the dealer, after receiving a buy back letter?

Question:
I have a letter from Mitsubishi about buying back my diamante at a price higher than usual. I'm just wondering how much of a scam this could be. They say in the letter they need pre-owned vehicles.

Answers:

I cant decide?

They're lying, which is what they do best. It's a ruse to get you into the dealer, where they will do EXACTLY the same deal as any other person walking in there.

Has anybody ever had their car repo? If so did you still have to pay the payments? pros and cons please?

They will "find" all sorts of defects on your car and offer you a "low-ball" trade in price. Dealers make a LOT of money doing that and reselling it at a premium price after a little detailing.

Sold my car to a coworker..Owes me money for the car..Title still with me. How do I get my money or car back?

they are just wanting to get you into the dealership. it is a sales ploy
