That is definitely not right! But then again prejudicism has existed since a long time ago. And so, my advice is just turn away and don't give heed to what these people may say. Be happy and content with what you have. You are lucky enough to be able to drive a car. Many many people don't even have to money to think about food much less a car.don't worry about those idiots, be yourself, be happy and feel good about yourself, people who treat you differently because of what you drive are usually posers anyhow. Just smile and drive away feeling good about yourself, knowing that they have a large car payment and you do not. save your money.

I think its human nature. at least at this point and definitely where i live...with all of the material things people have available right now its impossible for most to not make judgements based on what others have.Do i have time to back out or bargain?
depends on how treated atm driving a Skyline so get some great feedback from adults and kids so enjoy that.Others times get angry comments from people ie washing the car doing nothing wrong when someone shouted who do you think you are showing off your car think your someone special.So hate that.

If you dont want to stand out keep car normal looking and get a less obvious car.

added to answer iam glad lot of people arnt doing what they are posting against by picking on people with sports/modded etc cars saying are show offs.
I have my car as its one liked for years before became more popular .And if other people like it then fairplay thats upto them not me .Iam a member of a car club and only show it at car events where people go to see these cars and others not pose around everywhere i go.
So dont get confused by folks who show off and only buy their car to pose and think themselves something special.Then theres the car owners who enjoy a certain car and enjoy being in a club/ group whom enjoy there own cars.

I think they're idiots. People shouldn't judge someone by something so fickle. People who buy vehicles over 40,000 are just show offs anyway and everyone knows it.It IS human nature, no different that how you treat someone based on how they are dressed.That is why designer fakes are so popular. A person in a nice suit is treated with more respect than one in cut-offs and a T-shirt. So it's only natural that when you see someone in a new Rolls Phantom I would bet YOU think they are rich and classy, and as such, you treat them with more respect than you would someone in an old beat up hoopty.
