How much will my peugot 207 1.4 07 reg be worth in three years time?
most toyota, honda, or nissan products get good mileage, have a history of being dependable and having long lasting engines...Ive owned and driven a number of domestic (buicks) and foreign (toyotas, lexus, and benz) autos and I would reccomend those I first mentioned as a starter auto...Dealer markups on accessories esp moonroofs?
Please buy a 2005 Aveo with 35000 to 40000 miles you will be very pleased. The power train warranty is good til 100000 miles and is available at any GM dealership. How can I get out of a second chance finance loan?
honda civicI would say a used Volvo, they are solid and safe (ask tow truck drivers) cheaper to insure so they save you money, original owners have the money to do the upkeep. The generally last more then 150,000 miles easily. It seems like a wise decision, impress parents for a sensible and responsible choice.
Would it be better to trade in my car or sell it myself?
Get reliable and good on gas, forget anything GM, they are not at all reliable in my humble opinion. Is this Carfax report for this Lexus SC400 bad news?
Unfortunately, there are very few domestic cars I would recommend, but many "foreign" cars are manufactured in the US by US labor in high quality modern plants. Thins like the Geo Prism start with a good toyota engine, then GM puts shoddy things around it and you end up with a rolling wreck with just a good engine in it. Don't buy one of the mutt-mobiles, but just buy the purebred. Want a mitsubishi? buy a mitsubishi, not the Dodge version of it. Want a toyota? buy a toyota not the GM verstion of it, want a Jaguar... well, just buy a Ford.
How to sell my car in queensland. australia?
Get a Consumer's Guide Car Buying Guide at your local book store or news stand and read it cover to cover. Get the Consumer's Reports rating for repairs. Remember that these ratings are by reported incidences, and we in the US are harder on foreign cars than we are of domestic ones, so we expect more from them than we do from ourselves... Even with that bias and prejudice the 3 or 4 year old Japanese cars will be rated much better than the 3 or 4 year old US cars.
What color G35 Coupe should i get?
I loved hatch backs for years, and small wagons. If the seat folds down and you can get a bike or snow board or guitar and amp or whatever it is you haul, you will be happier than if it just seats 4 people and looks good and you regret not being able to move anything in a couple of years. Another option is to get something really cheap and ugly but reliable and plan on only keeping it a couple of years.
Situations change, and in some places you may decide to move in the next couple of years, the car will just be a burden.
What is the legal age for buying a car?
There's nothing wrong with a Civic or a Corolla or any one of the myriad of the pseudo-Japanese economy cars... Have a look at some cars that not many other people own - be different!Does a 2001 Jetta GLS, with 35000 miles and cost $9500 sound like a good deal?
My first car was a 1988 Saab 900 - people with much newer and more expensive cars always commented on how good it looked and drove. I bought it in 2003 for $1500 and put about $500 into it over two years to keep it in tip top shape.
My suggestion, find a 1995 or later 900 (Turbo 4cyl preferred over the V6). Spend about $5000 for a good car and keep about $1000 for any immediate expenses that may be required to bring it back to life - if needed... If you want something a little larger, Saab 9000 - a little newer, try find a cheap 9-3. A friend of mine recently got a pristine 2001 9-3 for a little over $6000, so it can be done. Good luck!
Oh, by the way, Saabs are no less reliable than any other car. My 1988 had over 230,000 miles on it, with the original engine... Not a ping or tick from the 16 valves - EVER! They are also no more expensive to repair than other cars. I replaced the water pump at 220,000 miles on my 900 - did it all myself to the tune of about $35 for the parts. CV axle, $125 installed at a shop... It also kept its resale - sold it two years later for what I bought it for! Can't knock that...
Bottom line, Saab... like a Volvo, but not the shape of a box.
the question begs the question.. What are you into?, What will fill the need?, money is a universal issue, but think of liking it first, then what can your money get you from this list,. you have to be realalistic, and think practical, but there are those who would say that at your age, the car is freedom, its like your very first pad... a space that will be a living room, a work horse, all of it.. I for one can look back on 16... (1986 for me)... I got a 1976 Chevy Nova hatchback, 2 door... nice with rims and nice tires. Made me smile and I took care and pride with it, and this will help make it easier to go to the job after school to do what you want, when you want to in your car, with your friends. All good stuff...everyone has to work, but when you go, be pleased with what you get for the money.
Actual cars... Forgein cars and trucks... Honda, Nissan, ect.. are hard to beat., Saturn, as Ive seen, do not age as well. I see the points about American brands, Chevy, Ford, ect.. you can get a good car but it would have to be older, like much older, One thing is for sure, wheels and tires make-all the difference in any vehicle.
