Okay. Looking at puchasing a vehicle to "pimp out". I mean I want to keep this ride for at least a few years and do up the exterior with custom paint and graphics, as well as all custom interior - i want to turn it into a show car. Also I want to but the car in an Auto Transmission (I do alot of driving and its easier). But at the same time I want the car to have a bit of "grunt" under the hood (not a drag car but able to "have a street reputation") what do you think I should get. Please list any suggestions/mods you would impliment for the body work or interior or engine. I also DONT want to buy a hatch back style car or a Ute, so honda civic's and toyota Hiluxes are out. (I have previously posted a similer question, i just made this one a bit more precise).

A hard choice had this trouble a few years ago when was making a show car the problem is finding a car that hasnt been done a thousand times ie atm have a Skyline but been done so many times can make it look great with mods but show car wise some companies have spend a fortune on these cars and i cant compete to that standard.
So again you need a car that hasnt been too popular to mod.But trouble i had was found a car that was very very rare to mod but then you have trouble in buying kits etc so really need money to get a custom kit etc.One that only you have got else your buying one that hundreds already have.
Other direction is to look for a similar size car and match bits up to yours to fit cut here screw there.
Then there the style a vip look classy or a Japanese look big kit and spoiler or the clean look lights hidden no door handles
a non shiny finish.
All depends on which look suits the car.
You need nice sounds, nice dash eg dials cover dash or respray ,engine clean new pipes etc bigger exhaust mods also depend on what engine you have na engines are different modded to turbo/supercharged engines.
Car colour again depends on car had a 180sx in black but feel doesnt look as good in other colours.
