I am deciding to by a 4-door family sedan, which one should i buy?
test em bothin the end u'll get the tundra
I'm not currently in the market for a truck, but even if I were I believe the 2 trucks you refer to are entirely different vehicles. Unless the lineup has changed, the Duramax comes in the heavy duty (2500, 3500 series) trucks and as far as I know the Toyota does not offer a Diesel in the Tundra but I could be wrong. The Duramax is allegedly made by Isuzu. If GM was smart and left it alone, it's a good motor. If they tinkered with it and made Isuzu cheapen it up to meet some artificial target cost, then I'd run away from it.
Need help with buying a new car, toyota yaris 2006, i'm a new buyer?
Again, just guessing I'd say the Toyota is probably the better vehicle on dependability but the Chevy / GMC has more torque or trailer towing abilities. I've heard that the GM product has had some issues. Me, I wouldn't buy a GM or a Ford right now because I don't know if they'll still be around much longer. What good is a warranty if the company that should honor is is bankrupt and shut the doors?
your comparing apples and oranges. the new 2007 tundra is a great truck. probably the best full size truck on the market right now if your shopping for a 1/2 ton truck. pricier than the others but when you compare their standard options to what you would have to get from chevy/dodge/ford close to the same price equally equipped. but then the american co's offer rebates which toyota does not. toyota's quality is still the best around and they also carry the best resale. so again if your looking at 1/2 ton trucks go for the toyota.
if your looking at a diesel truck, then you need to look at the dodge. dodge uses the cummins diesel engine which has always been the best diesel. the duramax (made by isuzu) is basically a gas burning v8 engine that has been converted to diesel. same to be said for the ford engine (made by international) both have had serious mechanical difficulties, heck even ford is complaining about it because they are getting charged more for the diesel engine than last year and the company who makes it for them is not helping them w/ payment when it comes to the warranty claims.
so..if you want a diesel, get a dodge. if you want a gas burner go for the toyota.
or you could save several thousand dollars and get a gas burning chevy or dodge but they just arent as good of a truck.
Does any one know how to make Office 2007 look like office 2003 again?? ITS DRIVIN ME NUTS?
The new Tundra offers a 380 H/P 5.7L engine. There's your dependability AND performance. The Chevy diesel rig is no slouch either, but is better suited for towing or hauling big loads.
