Lemon Laws?

Question:
Does anyone know about lemon laws in Arizona. Can someone please explain them to me in plain English? I've read the AZ statute and still don't completely understand it. We bought a 2005 Kia from a dealer about three weeks ago. We did not purchase the dealer warranty because there was still a warranty that came with the vehicle through Kia. It's been in the shop 4 times, had the computer replaced, sensors replaced and the check engine light is still on. They eventually found out that there is a hole in the gas tank from where the precious owner had some speakers installed. Do we have any rights in this case since it was damaged when it was sold to us?

I keep saying this, and someday it will sink in to the people who answer questions about "returning cars"...

what happens when you get your car repossesed?

I have yet to find a State where there is any kind of 3-day (or 30-day) buyers remorse law. Once you sign the papers on any vehicle purchase....you own it. Period. Each individual dealership may have a "RETURN POLICY". But that is NOT a law. Arizona is no different. You cannot return a car at any time after you have "closed the deal".

In regards to the LEMON LAW in AZ: This is a used car, so here is your lemon law in Arizona:

is leasing a vehicle better than getting a loan?

Used Car. A used car is covered by the Arizona Used Car Lemon
Law (A.R.S. § 44-1267) if a major component breaks within 15
days or 500 miles after the car was purchased, whichever comes
first. If it breaks, you'll still be responsible for a small amount of
the repair cost. The recovery for the consumer is limited to the
purchase amount paid for the car.

I have a 2001 freightliner. want know where to find out how much it's worth?

If the car is still being repaired under the warranty, then it would appear that the dealership is holding up to the lemon law.

Which would you choose? A '93 Buick Centry with 70,000 miles or a '98 minivan Ford Windstar with 120,000 miles

the same problem fixed 3 or more times, that's what it is here in Maine. when i bought a KIA it was the dumbest thing i ever did and i fell through the crack of the lemon law so good luck to you:)
PS i let mine go back to the bank because it was such a money trap! i couldn't trade it for anywhere near what i owed 2 months after i bought it, not to mention the cause of repair insurance and general running of was just to much.
