Charged off?

i was late with my car payment they know that i was sick.i don'work for four month they charged my off car.i dont and pay all the money that own them and they want my car and i need help i pay five thousand and five hundaud to get at pay up and they said i can not pay month if i want my car i have to pay the full amout my car is in my dispose for repossessed i ask for a letter said that my car payment was up today so i can get a pay off so that i can get an loan to pay the car off they no.please help.

i own a repair shop,and if they wanted to ,they could work with you on this,,they have the right to change the rules if they want to,but id try and talk to them again,,if this is your first time having this kind of a problem they should work with you on it,if not they may hold you to the full amount of the loan,,good luck i hope this help,s.

They don't care one wit that you were sick -- you have violated the terms of the contract so it is no longer your car. You may as well let them repo it -- you may have a little time before they pull the trigger and auction it but you will have to pay repo and service charges in addition to the pay-off.
