I'm 16 years old and much in need of a car... as you can imagine money is sort of an issue. I need a car around or under $3,000 that works and will get me from place to place. A car that looks decent is a plus too. If anyone has an idea of how much insurance would cost monthly for a car around that price with a student grade discount also, please tell me. Any ideas on a car or a way to save up some more money so i can get something above 3,000? Don't be smart @sses and tell me to get a job because I'm really busy with school and sports...thanks

i own a repair shop,and one of the best and easiest cars to find is a good Toyota corolla these days,and the insurance is cheap on a new driver also,these are really good cars they go for at least 2 or 3 hundred thousand if taken care of,,and look good also,i been in the repair business for a long time,and i really don't get to many of them to work on because they don't give a lot of trouble,,but you might want to go test drive one of these,,i think you,d like the way they run,and drive,,good luck i hope this help,s.how to get rid of this car....?

you can find a fairly nice used honda accord, toyota camry, or corolla, or a nissan for about $4000. I am gonna be smart though. A 16 yr old doesn't generally NEED a car. You should have to pay for your own gas money, oil changes, and stuff like that if you want the privelege of driving. I wish you luck. hit up an old police auction where they sell the old police cruisers, lots of miles but generally in good shape, but they're larger cars, making them a little bit more safer in an accident than a honda. and they're cheap!
