I would get a grand cherokee with the 4.7. My jeep has the 180hp 4.0, and its FAST. I cant even imagine what the hemi cherokee is like.
But it the end, its all about what you like to drive, and how the car fits you. Go test drive the new Buicks and Cadillacs, they are both great, Ive had them and they are apsolute power houses, get great mileage, and are extremely reliable.
Sporty and ability to drive in snow are a tough combination. I would have to say a Subaru Legacy GT AWD. They have proven track records, are reliable, handle well and hold their values well enough. A Mercury Milan AWD is also worthy of consideration, but Ford's do not have the best reputations when it comes to long term reliability and resale values.

A Mazdaspeed6 also has AWD. I am not sure how well they will hold up, and the AWD is meant more for handling and getting the power to the ground. They are pretty low, so not sure how useful they would be in the snow. They also tend to come equipped with summer tire, and they are useless even in the rain.
