a honda.1. parts are cheap because there are lots of parts due to the volume of hondas out there.
2. the body might rust but the engines in a honda will out last the body of the car.
3. if your looking to fix it up and tune it up again do to the volume of honda imports you'll have alot easier time finding and getting parts cheaper then most other tuners.
Where can I file a complaint against a used car dealership?
I'd go for late 80's Honda's, 1988-1990 Honda Accords go for about that, and I think they look kind of sporty, or can with nice rims/wheels. Hondas hold their value, are reliable and dependable, good mileage, overall not a bad car. I like Toyota also, most of their stuff has the same qualities as Honda, and again value holds. On both, I would replace the timing belt as soon as you can, you'll get another 200,000 out of it.A Nissan 240SX is the perfect car. Reliable, 2 door, sporty, and in your price range. They are fun to drive too!
