I'm no expert, but I'd only look at cars that get good gas mileage - gas is expensive. I know Hondas and Toyotas get good mileage, but there are probably others out there as well. As for those you listed, my parents have two Honda Civics: a 2006 model which is beautiful, gets great gas mileage, and is awesome to drive; and one that is about 18 years old that is still running great, they've had very few problems with, and still gets great gas mileage. My grandparents have a Honda Accord that they love, too.Is it a bad idea to buy a car from a "buy here pay here" dealer?
Overall, I'd say it has to do with preference and I believe gas mileage should be a key factor. Personally, when I get I car, I'm going to look at Hondas first because my family has had such good luck with them.

I would have to go with the Honda Civic. They are economical, get great ratings, and are fairly the enexpensive of the choices. Honda's last forever and have the best resale value. Honda CivicHave you considered the Scion tC? My husband was either going with the tC or the Mazda 6 and the tC won. And he loves that car. Inexpensive and if you're looking to hook it up, lots of things to do and it's still new so while everyone and their mom has a civic, you'd have something different. We got it last July and it's been the best car we've bought. And he's changed the headlights and tail lights and I swear everyone looks at that car. So that's my pick!
Toyota Camry. Great fuel economy and more dependable than all others on you list. I'm a red neck Chevrolet man person but reality needs to strike sooner or later. It took me 45 yrs. to wake up. I'm only advising you to do it at an earlier age.
