Car dealer added $3000 warranty to financing without telling me?
I'd recommend a nice family sedan or a station wagon rather than an SUV. You could save money, get better gas mileage, and not pollute the environment as much.Is it better to guess high or low...?
If you really want an SUV the Suzuki's are a good choice. They rank very high in reliability and very low in mechanical failure cost.I have the Grand Vitara Luxury and have had no problems what so ever. My brother has the XL-7 with about 200,000 on it and has never had any problems with the vehicle outside of general maintanence like brakes, tires, etc! No major repairs!
I know several other people with them and also did extensive research prior to purchasing mine with absolutely no negative reports!
It's a fully loaded, ALL wheel drive (not 4 wheel drive), and for the price you can't find better! They are excellent on gas too!
The Grand Vitara is a 5 passanger and the XL-7 can be either 5 or 7 with an extra third seat.

I've brought a second hand car but it's no good for me.?
Why not domesticDoes anyone have any advice on buying a used car?
For $6,000 to $7,000 you probably want to go with a 1998-2000 Nissan Pathfinder or a 1997-1999 Toyota 4 Runner. Relaize these will all have fairly high miles but are reliable. You get a little better bang for your buck with the Nissan. When is it time to buy a new (or used) car?
How 'bout a 4Runner. They were redesigned long enough ago that you can get the new design for 6-7K with enough miles on it. Same thing with the Honda Pilot. If you don't want something that big, you can go with a Toyota Highlander. Wait until the 2008 model releases, and you can get a half-decent third row seat. For my money, though, I'd ge the Pilot.More Questions & Answers ...
