Not as far as I'm aware of... It's taxed at the same percentage as your home location (what ever they tax at the local store, is what you get taxed at)

I know people who own newer Corvettes who are only paying about $100/ 2 years for a license plate... with no road taxes other than this license plate and say $20/year for a inspection sticker (if you live in Baton Rouge)
