Question:
I would like to buy a classic car. I'm thinking of maybe a muscle car from the 60's. I really like Impalas but I also like El Caminos. Do you know of any other choices? Oh, I'm also thinking of maybe an old suv, like a Scout or something.
Answers:
What happens to the cars that people DON'T buy?
Classic car's "O" BOY! I love all classic car's and have had many of them when they weren't Classics. That said you should first decide what you want to do with the car? If your looking to go to car shows with it than there are very few that cater to SUVs. If your looking for a car to just cruise around with than you need to decide if you want a convertible or a hard top. Prices very based on how rare the vehicle is. Like a 1955 Vet will cost a lot more than a 1955 Chevy. Also the quality of the restoration is important. The better the restoration the higher the cost to buy. The best place to start is Hemmings they list all kinds of classic car's. You can check on line at Hemmings they have a great web site to look for classic car's. I got my 1962 Morris Minor 1000 through there web site. There are big cars, small cars and mid size to pick from. You can also look into Hot Rods as most are classic's or antique's. They are a good buy because the owner will put more money and time into his hot rod than he will sell it for. Some of these guys just love working on there rods. So you need to do some home work first...I wish you the best of luck...Happy motoring...What SUV's have available 3rd Row Seating?
The choices are endless. Look on E-Bay at project cars to get an idea of the prices. Some of these cars are getting close to the hundred grand mark, and piles of restorable junk are going for four thousand. You need to be mechanically adept, or have some one close by that is, and you will need a lot of cash. I have seen a 64 Impala with a dead engine and a trashed interior selling for thirty five hundred. You tow.Do you have to have a log book to sell a car? Can you get another from the DVLA? If so how much?
Mustangs and Broncos are very popular and my favorites :)Interested to buy motorcar - Mercedes CLS350 to be driven in Singapore.?

Hi Everyone, do you think I should wait to buy the Maruti Baleno SX4 vehicle ?
I had a 70 1/2 (the owner's manual actually said it too) Ford Falcon (and it had a Torino body)...I miss that car.
Yes, I found those answers after i posted my question?
You could get a car like a Dodge Dart (had a 225, but you could put in a 318 and you'd have a car that ran like a raped ape!) That would be my choice.
How come they stopped putting ashtrays in with basic car features?
Pick a brand! Chevy, Ford, Pontiac, Dodge - Whatever. My suggestion, don't get the car that everyone has, Mustangs, Impalas and camaros have been overdone. Try a '63 Barracuda or maybe a 65 Mercury Comet. Then find out all you can so you can impress your friends, try lines like "oh they made 73,000 of these the first year alone I'm suprised you never heard of it. You live under a rock?"Get a subscription to Hemmings Motor News, it is a huge classified listing. If nothing else you will get an idea of current prices. They also have a Muscle Car Magazine.
