Question:
for those of you that have driven and/or own a RRS, please respond! just give me an overall opinion on the vehicle.
I have a question bout 60's & 70's cars?
also, is it worth the extra $ to get the supercharged? or is the HSE enough.
I am buying a new car & need advice?
thank you.
Answers:
if you're planning on doing any sort of offroading, you're best off with the hse. the reason being the calpiers on the S/C brembo brakes restrict you to 19" wheel sizes (most get hse 19s) and you don't have many offroading tire choices in 19". secondly, i've noticed that those coming from a sporty car tend to miss the extra ponies and like the extra umph in the S/C. realize an RRS is much different than a sports sedan so don't expect the same performance. apples & oranges. i came from a 4runner so the improvement all around was huge and the S/C didn't offer that much more to me.
First Car Choice- Viper, Escalade, Corvette, Volvo?
that said, the S/C engine sounds awesome. oh and if you need the extra towing capacity, then get the S/C. also if you want the dynamic pkg, an HSE with that is gonna be hard to find. look into all the options. you may find after adding all the ones you want, you're knocking in the S/C price tag door.
If you purchase a vehicle from a dealer auction in NJ, are you protected by a lemon law ?
I know a few range rover owners, unless you have plenty of time to spend in repair shops I'd look elsewhere.More Questions & Answers ...
