Question:
the car looks good but, the air bags do not work. Please help! I need a car asap, I can only afford to pay 6500. I think that it is a good idea to buy a salvage car which usually have less miles and look better than a used car. On the other hand, how save are these cars? PLEASE HELP ME! thank you.

Honda Accord V6 coupe or Subaru WRX?
salvage cars are ok but it depends what they were salvaged because they will more than likley have problems it depends on how much u will pay and how many problems u are willing to deal with. It could mean the chassis was bent in which if it was fixed, it will either chew up tires or ride crocked or be weak or chew up important seals be stressing them to bend and conform to the bent frame or mabee the whole car was flodded..u may have engine problems or computer problems there are a ton fo sensitive parts. Then again it may be that the whole front end was totaled and was fixed.... not so bad or is it. the problem with a salvage is its restored. So on the out side they may look better than a used car but they may be hiding the truth. Check car fax for a small fee or mabee www.kbb.com/good luck
How much of a down payment should i put on a new car in % terms?
Are you buying from a dealer or private party?Value of used Geo? Kelley Blue Book??
$5,900 is about right from a dealer. I'd knock about $1,000 off if buying from a private party.
