Ford thunderbird 2002-2004?

Question:
I am thinking of purchasing a Ford Thunderbird 2004. However, there are a few concerns. Consumer Reports gave this vehicle a the worst rating for transmission for 2003-2004. The 2002 model rated fine but that maybe because it was the first year out. The car only had a three year production run. Anyone know why it was discontinued? Anyone own this car and have the inside track? Is it true that Ford is going to reintroduce this vehicle following a redesign?

I am looking for a new small car to buy.. .what should I get?

2002-2004 (actually 2005 as well) Thunderbird was first shown at autoshows in 1999 as a "retro-look" concept car. A throw back look , like the 1955-'56 & '57 two-seater Thunderbird Convertibles with the removeable hardtop.
The 'Concept' car was met with enormous consumer interest ( I still have an Auto Show hand out postcard of the 'concept' Thunderbird in the foreground & the '56 & '57 cars in the backround...it's still on my refridgerator) & Ford promised to make a retail version.
The retail version was indeed produced in 2002. It was very limited production & many dealers (mine included) had people on waiting lists to buy them. My 8 Birds were all presold
Ford origanally said they would only produce this model in limited quantities for 3 years, just like the '55-'56-'57, but at the last minute decided to produce an '05 ....50 Year Anniversary Edition..1955-2005.
It was never meant to be built any longer than the 3 years which turned into 4 by consumer demand. My dealership sold every single one that we could get our hands on. We never had any problems whatsoever with any of them.
You may or may not be aware of the fact that each year had 2 colors unique to that model only. And 1 Limited Edition Package.

Toyota Tacoma or For Ranger??

By the way, I didn't go cut & paste all this info from some Google or Wiki-blah-blah websites. I sell Fords & have always LOVED the old 55-57's. John Travolta & Jay Leno also have some of these newer retro ones as well as the old ones.
I have no inside info as to whether Ford wil re-introduce the Thunderbird or not, but if they do I don't believe it will be a 2-seat roadster like these.

Why does Ford sell the mondelo in Europe and the Focus in USA?

Solido DBR9 vs AutoArt DBR9?

Over priced, under powered (only has a small V-8). If they were such a good idea, why doesn't Ford still make them. And who the hell is Courtny Hansen?

How does vehicle leasing work?

As far as I know, they didn't offer a high performance model, so they were all show and no go, as the old timers say.

should I buy a volvo xc90 or acura mdx? which one is best?

I like their looks, however, but I want a car that is "show AND go"
