If you bought it in "as is" condition, I don't think the dealer is responsible for anything. That's why they sell them as is, if anything goes wrong with it as soon as it's off the lot, they owe you nothing. Of course, a reputable dealer would try to resolve your problem.

If it's just mechanical faults, the dealer is not liable for anything at all. You should have had the vehicle inspected prior to purchasing it.
